We collect both Customer Data and Machine Data (collectively, “Data”) as outlined in this Policy.

  1. Customer Data. To purchase, access, or use our goods and services, you may be asked to create an account with us, John Deere, or another equipment partner. This may include providing personally identifiable information such as your name, contact details, and account credentials.

    If you maintain an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your username and password secure and for all activity conducted under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

    Customer Data may also be collected when you communicate with us via email, complete forms, upload content, or authorize third-party systems (e.g., JD LinkTM) to share data with us. By granting such access, you provide us with a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use this information as described in this Policy.

Types of Customer Data may include:

  • Personal Data: such as your name, address, phone number, email, Social Security number, or other identifiers.
  • Transaction & Demographic Data: purchase history, service records, and demographic details to better understand your needs.

  • Equipment usage data like fuel consumption, engine hours, diagnostics, software versions, and geolocation.
  • Agronomic data such as crop yields, soil conditions, and chemical/fertilizer application rates.

Machine Data may be collected directly from your equipment or through third-party systems you authorize. By providing such access, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual license to use the data as outlined in this Policy.

If personnel operate your equipment, you are responsible for informing them that data is collected and for obtaining all legally required consents.

  1. Confidentiality, Security, and Storage of Data

We will not disclose personally identifying information unless necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect our rights or property
  • Enforce this Policy or other company policies

We may share your Data with trusted vendors, service providers, or affiliates as necessary to deliver goods and services. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system can guarantee 100% security.
